Our Mission

Let's face it, Arizona summers qualify for more than just a "dry heat." It's a dry, blistering melt-your-shoes-on-the-sidewalk heat that keeps us desert dwellers sequestered in our air-conditioned hubs for months. But here's the good news: The three-digit temps also keep tourists to a minimum and give us free reign to fully enjoy the spoils of our beautiful desert environment. And that's where the Summer Spaaah Series comes in.

Born in the summer of 2006 from a united desire by its founders to inject our sleepy summers with a dose of fun and camaraderie, the Summer Spaaah Series is a Valley-wide phenomenon that unites top spa destinations with local residents through engaging, onsite events. Each event offers refreshments, sweet treats, sample spa treatments, demos, activities, raffles, goodie bags and a chance to tour the top-notch spas that dot our landscape. And what's more, a portion of the proceeds of the summer-long event goes to the Fresh Start Women's Foundation, an empowering Valley-based charity that assists women in transition. Spas, sweets and charity -- what could be better than that?

Our Benefiting Charity

Fresh Start Women's Foundation is dedicated to helping empower women through the services of the Jewell McFarland Lewis-Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center, the first comprehensive self-help center for women in the country.
